Last week in the win over Los Angeles, Michel ran for 129 yards on 24 carries and funny post scored three New England touchdowns. Running the football and keeping it away from Kansas City’s high-powered offense will be important come Sunday. LA’s defense will provide a real challenge for Seattle as they are allowing just 19.2 points per game, the third-fewest in the NFL.
Thomas initially missed a few weeks with an ankle injury — then missed Week 5 for disciplinary reasons — and was on track to return after a bye before he sustained his latest hamstring injury. The larger wagers are on the Carolina Panthers and it only makes sense that this is directly tied to Thomas’ health. In Weeks 5 and 6 we saw DraftKings bettors going against some of the biggest favorites, but that isn’t really the case for Week 7. So much so that even though the spread is massive, the Cards figure to cover. The only non-cover happened versus an inspired Minnesota squad in NFL Week 2. Houston is the worse team the Cardinals have so far faced this season.
Two of the NFL’s most prolific offenses will square off on Sunday when the Los Angeles Rams travel to New Orleans to face the Saints. The winner will have the inside track on the NFC’s top seed throughout the playoffs. The Rams enter Sunday’s game as the last remaining unbeaten in the league at 8-0. The Saints lost their first game of the season and have now won six straight to lead the NFC South with a 6-1 record. Monday night’s Tennessee-Dallas matchup has plenty of postseason implications.
Chicago Bears At Las Vegas Raiders
The Steelers have clinched the AFC North and nearly had control of the AFC’s top seed but watched it disappear in a loss to New England last week. The Steelers cannot afford another loss with Jacksonville close on its heels as they head to Houston to face the Texans on Christmas Day. The Jags (10-4) are just a game behind the Steelers and would own a tiebreaker having beat Pittsburgh earlier in the season.
What Is A Pleaser Bet?
Last Sunday was Vegas’ third outright win as a betting underdog. The Raiders opened as three-point favorites this week but are 0-2 against the spread when favored. But, in their defense, the record doesn’t tell the whole story. Of course, the injuries to key players such as Russell Wilson and Chris Carson make a difference. One in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans where they blew a 14 point lead in the fourth quarter.
Nfl Week 4 Odds
So far this season, five different quarterbacks to face the Carolina Panthers have rushed for at least 16 yards. According to Awesemo’s Player Props Tool, Waller is projected for just under seven receptions with a 63% expected win rate and 18% expected return on investment. The Eagles’ defense was just toasted by tight ends last week when OJ Howard and Cam Brate combined for nine catches on 11 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown.
Daniel Jones is competent when he has time to sit in the pocket, but things really begin to unravel when he is under duress. The Panthers have really come crashing down to earth since starting the season 3-0, but they are the better, healthier team here. The Giants looked shaky even with Saquon in the backfield and the Jason Garrett coached offense leaves little to be desired. This could be an ugly game so the under is also worth a look but be careful if you are laying the points here.
Notre Dame Vs Toledo Football: Point Spreads & Betting Odds
That being said, Cleveland’s defence is compromised more because the offence is so hobbled. There are more challenges this week but after doing well the past several weeks, it is time to take a chance or three. Many feel that the Carolina Panthers are getting some excellent odds as they should be favoured by more against one of the worst teams in football. Josh Jacobs saw 16 carries last week, but his price has climbed too high after back-to-back games with a rushing TD. Jacobs is still yet to top 53 rushing yards on the year, and though he struggled against the run last week, Fletcher Cox will likely help limit Jacobs to a pedestrian total once again.
The Jets haven’t beaten the Patriots since 2015, which also happens to be their last home victory over New England. The Patriots remain undefeated (and well-rested) having just disposed of the other New York team, the Giants, last Friday. Defensively, New England is the best team in the league, but after turning the ball over twice, Tom Brady suddenly looks human.
